At Bidvest Catering Services we utilise specialist environmental health and safety personnel, who are guided by local and internationally recognized laws and legislation.

Random specialist audits at the workplace subsequently ensure absolute compliance with these policies and procedures. Our food is delivered, produced, stored, handled and transported to the highest standards of hygiene to meet the requirements of the International Food Safety Act 1990, the Regulation R908 in terms of section 15(1) of the foodstuffs, cosmetics and disinfectants act, 1972, SANS and ISO.

Learning Academy

Bidvest Catering Service

The Bidvest Catering Services Learning Academy has been developed specifically to train, empower, promote and retain our staff and chefs alike at all levels. This is helping our team be the best they can be with a range of training opportunities including regular internal courses and other professional qualifications.

Creating a clear route of development, our chefs can map their progression through the kitchen whilst developing leadership and managerial skills that support a progression to executive chef or management levels.

The benefits of the learning academy are firmly embedded into our business.
